Field Camp..Again.

So..Its field camp again. haha. This time as a Sergeant. It was different from my field camp during BMT cause it is 4 days 3 nights instead of 6 days 5 nights. The place was quite OK. I like the part where they had to do night walk. my job is to stay at one checkpoint and to make sure everyone is safe. But I decided to disturb them. I tell you in the jungle is pitch dark. you almost cant see anything. Then i would like stand in their line and keep quiet. Then when they start counting the men, they got one extra man. Panic sia they all. hahaha.so thats the fun part.
Then got another part where all the sergeants in the platoon "play" with the recruits.
We throw thunderflash which is like a fire cracker and its very loud. Whenever they heard a thunderflash they would prone. then they will get up and run. all of us have 20 thunderflash..so imagine lah how many times they must run..hahaha.
We also likes to steal recruits rifle. They are suppose to take care of their rifle at all times. so its an offence not to take care of ur rifle. I stole alot. even from other platoon. hahaha. their punishment for not taking care of their rifle is to stayback on weekend. they would come to me and beg for mercy. too bad.
Oh yeah some of the us dug a shell scrap and Fire trench for the recruits to see. The shell scrape was all right. But the trench was rabak. I have a few blisters on my palm.
At night i taught my recruits how to cook in the jungle. haha. excited sia they all. I was cooking in fear as they are rumours of wild boars in that area. seram siol.
The last day which is today was the machine gun part ah. this time im the one leading the people crawling under the machine gun.wah. penat nk mampos. But as a sergeant u are not supposed to show your tiredness in front of the recruits. so whenever i feel tired i will stop crawling and step motivate dorang. padahal dah penat. hahaha.but seriously it was damn tiring. then we went back. yipee!
just now i taught them swimming for those dunno how to swim. then book out! woo!
Remember, when walking in the jungle jangan main jalan je. you might walk through a spider web and spider as big as your fist will crawl on your face. yeah that was what i experience..hahaha geli siol

2 weeks past...5 weeks left.

2 weeks past real quick. Being an instructor isn't that easy. mcm2 kene buat. A lot of decision making. Had to teach them alot of things. Damn alot of questions. I had to answer them.I learn that i should not be relax with them. Kene maki dorang sikit. pasal dorang ni kepale batu. Thats this day, I just woke up from a sleep and I was supposed to bring them for lunch. Orang baru bangun tido mood mesti tk baik. In the end recruits yg jadi mangsa. hahaha. I march them round and round tgh2 panas then maki dorang then ask them to do area cleaning and dun give them smoking break. haha. I dunno why that day mcm geram gitu ngan dorang. tk salah pon kene marah. hahaha.

I did guard duty on Thursday. supposed to end at 8am on friday. But i have to wait for the replacement to come. tunggu punyer tunggu sampai kol 10. bingit giler. dah lah byk vehicle kluar masok. When they arrive, i scold them upside down. Menyusahkan org. the worst part is i got no vehicle to go back. haha. I hitched a vehicle but had to go to gurkha camp before going back to camp. i said ok. At the gurkha camp..wow. pretty cool place. all the bunks are one storey high. Shower sumer kat open. The people there were very nice. they offered us coconut and coffee to drinks. Very friendly people. and thats the first time i knew theres a gurkha camp in tekong. hahaha. then went back.

yesterday i booked out at 5pm. damn. why? because ive been randomly selected to cunduct some PT for those staff who cannot Pass IPPT. Not recruits.E.g storemen. bingit giler. then went home. reached home at 730pm.
