First day: The Beginning

OK. Im gonna split this field camp experience into 6 posting cause i definitely can remember what experienced during my field camp. Its gonna be a long story. if u are interested continue reading ar. Ok on the first day. We started with a 6km route march at 9am. Route march is marching with ur full battle order. U have to wear ur combat helmet, ur field pack(approximately 10kg) , ur LBV(Live bearing Vest)with ur 3 litres of water in water bag and 1 litre of water bottle and finally ur Rifle. Its tiring but when you keep on singing, trust me u will not feel the tiredness. after the route march, we changed and get ready to go to the campsite. we collect combat ration(urgh!!) and pack inside the field pack and good to go.went to the eastern part of tekong, deep deep into the jungle by a toner(army lorry). it was an oil palm plantation. pitch our Basha(a simple form of tent) and have our lunch. Suddenly sergeant Fiq shout,"Even Number bed, fall in and bring ur ET tools(mini cangkul)". Wah!! he asked us to dig shit holes for the whole company. it was tiring ar..dig until ur knee level. and there is only 6 shit holes for 160 people. hahaha. What a start!

Then we had our lunch. Bluek!! combat ration sucks. even though the name were nice. Such as.Mutton curry pasta, it sucks.I dun know how to describe it, but its really sucks. haha. Then we put our Camouflage cream on and get ready for Urban Ops training.

Urban Ops was fun. U know like Counter strike game? Yeah something like that. wah i fired the rifle like fire machine gun until im out of ammo. the training overall was great. I really enjoyed it.

after that we had our dinner and go back to sleep. first day was orite. It was a good experience. a good start.
